I want and need to tell the world.

The funeral of a dear friend of mine
is taking place at 1:45 pm on Monday 3rd February 2003
in Barnard Castle, County Durham, England

Sadly, I cannot be there in the flesh
BUT
I will be there in spirit.

At that time, I will stop and think for a moment
and think
and maybe shed a quiet tear.

I wrote a few words to share my feelings - they are below.

I am so sad,
I have just been told

that you have left us.

I often have,
and will continue to

think about you.

I often have,
and will continue to

tell folk about you.

Watching and learning
your styles and ways

has made me a better man.

Remember with a smile,
being with you and Kath

in Windsor.
(Yes they did look real)

But most of all,
I am Oh so proud

that we were mates.
